THE NY ART BOOK FAIR

NYのMoMA PS1にて9月30日から10月2日まで開催される"THE NY ART BOOK FAIR"で

Transparent magazineが展示販売されます。

なんとエキサイティングなんでしょう！

zine's mateのブースにて開催される日本の女性のzineやアートブックを集めた"Feminine"にて展示されます。

今年MoMA PS1に訪れる機会があったのですが、そこでTransparent magazineがニューヨーカーに見て頂けるなんて、本当に嬉しい！

もし、その期間NYに訪れる幸運な人はぜひPS1に足を運んで下さい。

本当に凄くエネルギッシュな企画展ですよ！

From the 30th of September to the 2nd of October, "the NY art book fair" will held at MoMA PS1 in NY.

Transparent magazine vol. 3 and 4 will be shown and sold there.

How exciting!!!

If you will be around, the exhibition is worth to go!!!

my magazines will be there.

MOON FACTORY COFFEE

京都にElephant factory coffeeと言うカフェがあります。

古本や店主が集めたオブジェに囲まれてとっても美味しいコーヒーが飲めるお店です。

Transparent vol.03で取材させて頂いたのですが、是非京都に訪れた際は足を運んでほしいお店の１つです。

私は特に夜９時以降にコーヒーを頂きにお邪魔するのが好きです...

さて、そのelephant factory coffee さんから

三軒茶屋の三角地帯の端っこに"Moon factory coffee"と言うお店をオープンしますと言うお便りが届きました。

Elephant factory coffeeが本当に素敵なお店なのでMoon factory coffeeにもとっても興味があります！行ってみたい！

９月２日オープンだそうです。是非、美味しいコーヒーと素敵な時間を。

In Kyoto, there is a cafe called "ELEPHANT FACTORY COFFEE".
You can enjoy the really good coffee in the cafe surrounded by 2nd hand books and some object that the owner collected.
We have interviewed the owner on our Transparent magazine vol.03.
if you have a chance to visit Kyoto it's worth to visit the cafe!
I love visiting there especially after 9 pm!

anyways...yesterday I received a card from them. it says that they wil open the new cafe called "MOON FACTORY COFFEE" in Sangenjyaya in TOKYO.
It must be the lovely cafe to visit too!
if you wanna have a lovely time with a nice cup of coffee...
the cafe will be open on 2nd of September!

TOKYO ART BOOK FAIRで手に入れた山崎美帆さんのZine.

可愛いイラストに人目惚れ。

原美術館で見つけた、フリーダ カーロの人形。

眉毛はつながりはしてたもののきっと魅力的で美しかったと思う彼女のお顔が

とっても不細工で可愛いと思い、つれて帰ってきました。

表参道に出来たmatohuさんでオーダーしたきんきらきんのカード入れ。

ふくさみたいな作りです。

使い込んだらどうなるかとっても楽しみ♪

A zine by Miho Yamazaki which I bought at THE TOKYO ART BOOK FAIR.

I was in love with her drawing at first sight.

so cute.

The other cute one. Mexican artist Frida Kahlo's magnet dall.

I found that at Hara art museum. she is one of my favorite artist.

I think she was very charming and beautiful lady, even though she had uni-brow...

but is one is so ugly! but I couldn't look away from her.....so cute!

and a very gold card case from matofu.

nice and gold isn't it!?

I was so lucky to meet Mr.Horihata the designer of matohu at his new shop then.

okay now I must write some letters!

楽しい夏休みも終わりです！

さ、気持ちを切り替えなと！

ブログも全然更新してないし...

もう帰って来て２ヶ月経ちますが、

バタバタしててちゃんと見てない雑誌と、

とっても刺激的だったAlexander McQueenのNYのメトロポリタン美術館で開催されてたexhibition“SAVAGE BEAUTY”の図録。

展覧会は本当に素晴らしかったです。会場の壁などにMcQueenがインタビューなどで答えた言葉などが書き出されていました。

彼の作品に対する考えやクリエーションに関する事など、本当に興味深い言葉でした。

亡くなってしまったなんて本当に残念です。

今晩あたりから雑誌や図録じっくり見てみよう...何か面白い発見があるかも。

A short summer holiday finished already... now start working on my magazine really hard!

2 month have already passed since my NY trip

Here are something I have gotten in NY.

I had been too busy, so I didn't have time for look them so far.

some magazines and a book of Alexander McQueen's exhibition " SAVAGE BEAUTY "

the exhibition was great! It blew me away!

there were some interesting words which he left...

that is too sad that we won't be able to see his new work ...

anyways I am going to look them tonight. there might be some good things I can find.

THE TOKYO ART BOOK FAIR　行ってきました。

沢山の本、雑誌、zine...凄い活気で面白かったです。

会館を通して沢山の来場者があったみたいで、私が3331Arts Chiyodaに訪れた時も、人で一杯でした。

Transparentも沢山の素敵な本と一緒に並べて頂いて、感激。

こんな機会を与えて頂いたZINESMATEさんに感謝です。

今年も半分終わりますね...

只今、Transparent vol.05に関しての企画を練ってはMORESKINEに書込んでます。
とても楽しい！
さて、そんな風に暑い中わくわく過ごしてますが、もう１つ素敵な出来事です。

ZINE'S MATEさんにお声をかけて頂き、来月７月１６〜１８日まで東京で開催されます"THE TOKYO ART BOOK FAIR 2011"でTransparent を展示販売して頂ける事になりました。


アメリカと日本の、女性によるZINEやアーティストブック等を集めた特別展
「Feminine - Artists' Publications by Women in the U.S. and Japan」
も開催されるそうです。

面白そうな企画です。

首都圏お住まいの方、期間中東京にお越しの予定の方は是非！

This heat is killing me...

Hi everyone...it's been so hot wether these days here in Osaka.

but I am having fun thinking of Transparent vol.5 La musica issue.
Thinking of ideas for the pages is always big fun!

And I have an exciting news that our Transparent Magazine will be sold at THE TOKYO ART BOOK FAIR 2011.

私は雑誌が好きです。

オンラインの本屋さんで見つけた海外からの雑誌です。

新しくコレクションに加えました。

とってもステキです。一つはかっこ良くって一つはキュート。

イギリスとNY発信。

私もがんばらないと〜！

今日は展示会にお邪魔してきました。

四角い布をあわせて作った衣装がとてもきれいでした。

舞台衣装などでも活躍されているデザイナー"SEN"

ショーのビデオなどとても面白かったです！

明日は大阪で開催中のmatohuさんの展示会にお邪魔する予定！

昼間は今回スウィートなケーキを作ってくれたlilialさんの参加してるものづくりのイベントへ！（ダイエットのため自転車で多分片道40分くらい）

I love magazines!

that's why I started making one myself.

These are the magazines I found online bookshop....both of them are awesome.

One is from NY and the other one is from England. English one has great photography and NY one has some collages that are so cute.

I put them in my magazine collection!

I am so happy to find those!

Today I visited an exhibition of the clothing designer "SEN".

The designer works for plays and dance stages as well.

Great stuff.

Tomorrow I am probably going to visit a show of "matohu".

before that I will visit an event of craft and food!
